...and the Binaural Beats Go On

Mindfulness and meditation are wonderful, but it can be really hard to quiet the mind for even a brief period of time. The Crystal Singing Bowls bring all benefits of meditation while providing balance and entertainment for the brain with binaural and harmonic tones. When binaural tone bowls are played the brain can actually be reset – bringing balance to the right and left side. During a Sound Bath binaural tones are then followed by harmonics which delight and relax the brain. Sound Bath attendees will emerge relaxed, refreshed and recharged, ready to tackle challenges with a new mindset.
How do binaural tones work?
Binaural tones are created by presenting two different tones at slightly different pitches (or frequencies) played at same time. For example, if one bowl resonates at 210 Hz and the other at 200 Hz the other, the brain will process the two sounds into a 10 Hz frequency, which happens to be the same frequency produced by the brain during meditation and relaxation. Binaural tones are capable of cultivating relaxation even during times of high stress, and as such have been labelled the digital drug with remarkable relaxation and meditation powers.
What are the different types of binaural tones?
Delta patterns: Binaural tones in the delta pattern are set at a frequency of between 0.1 and 4 Hz, which is associated with dreamless sleep.
Benefits: deep meditation and healing.
Theta patterns: Binaural tones in the theta pattern are set at a frequency of between 4 and 8 Hz, which is associated with sleep in the rapid eye movement or REM phase.
Benefits: dreaming, spatial navigation, intuition, meditation, memory formation, alertness, creativity, and subconscious thinking.
Alpha pattern: Binaurals tones in the alpha pattern are set at a frequency of between 8 and 13 Hz, which may encourage relaxation.
Benefits: working memory, calculations, and the coordination of thought.
Beta pattern: Binaural tones in the beta pattern are set at a frequency of between 14 Hz and 38 Hz, which may help promote concentration and alertness.
Benefits: active problem solving, complex and effortful thinking, motor control, high anxiety, excitement, and judgment.
Gamma Waves: Binaural tones in the game patter are set a frequency between of 38 Hz and 100 Hz and are the least-understood brain waves. They are believed to be involved in the integration of thought processes by linking information from different parts of the brain.
Benefits: active consciousness and self-awareness, peak cognitive functioning, and possibly spirituality.
Potential benefits include: Binaural tones stimulation in the brain provides a multitude of benefits including relaxation, stress relief, peak mental alertness and focus, providing relief from lost sleep, mood elevating, and much more.
The purpose for using binaural tones may differ between people. Some people may need help decreasing their anxiety, while others may want to increase their concentration or deepen their level of meditation. That is the wonderful benefit of Sound Meditation.
