What is a Sound Bath? Calm Minds for Higher Productivity A Sound Bath is a form of sound healing.  It is called a Sound Bath because the sounds are washing over their body. Employees lay down on yoga mats with their eyes closed and a sound healing practitioner will play Alchemy Crystal Bowls that will help calm the mind chatter and relax the body. A Sound Bath helps to relieve stress, reduce pain and calm the mind. Alchemy Crystal Bowls are pure crystal quartz blended with a variety of gemstones and precious metals that provide a unique sound and healing experience. For those who are new to meditation, this is a great way to start because the bowls will help quiet the mind and allow employees to stay focused. For those who have been meditating for a while, the Alchemy Crystal Bowls deepen and enhance the practice with their healing properties. The room will also be filled with the soothing smells of a custom blend of essential oils to help employees relax even deeper

Achieve a Highly Engaged and Well Performing Workforce The proven benefits of Corporate Wellness programs are numerous. The proven benefits of corporate wellness programs are numerous. Studies have even shown that for every dollar spent, the returns have been cost savings of between $2.30 and $10.10 in the areas of decreased absenteeism, fewer sick days, reduced Workers’ Compensation Board claims, lowered health and insurance costs and improvements to employee performance and productivity. Wellness programs are largely successful because they are beneficial for both the employee and the company. Spending time to reduce organizational costs through prevention, recognition and assistance is a worthwhile investment and one that few organizations regret. Wellness innovation at work Many companies like Google, Unilever, Zappos, Genentech, Twitter and Facebook offer employees yoga, healthy free meals, massages and meditation rooms. And, a few innovative companies such as LinkedIn, Wix, Paradigm and Cloudian are offering Sound Healing meditation sessions in their offices.  According to The Institute for HealthCare Consumerism: “For many companies, health costs use up 50 percent or more of their corporate profits. In fact, the indirect costs of poor health, such as an absence from work and reduced work productivity, can result in two or three times the amount of direct medical costs. Twenty-eight percent of workers said they would feel more satisfied and more loyal to their employer if their company offered more options to improve their health and lifestyle. Workers also recognize the fact that they need to take an active role in workplace wellness. Thirty-five percent of employees were willing to change their lifestyle habits if it meant they could lower their health insurance premiums.” Why Sound Baths?  Sound Baths offer employees a truly unique 60 minute escape from their phones, email, meetings and the frenzy of deadlines with pure relaxation and healing sounds of Alchemy Crystal Bowls. During this session, your employees will do a light meditation, relax, rest and rejuvenate,  emerging more mindful and productive.

Achieve a Highly Engaged and Well Performing Workforce Sound Bath at the Office – What to Expect Employees should bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and an eye mask to the session. Employees may lay down or sit in chairs. It is best when there is a designated room where we can close the door making it a private experience for the group. The sounds of the Alchemy Crystal Bowls used are usually not heard past the closed room. Employees will drop into a deep relaxed state during the experience and leave feeling refreshed and energized upon its completion.  The Sound Bath will consist of a short-guided meditation, 40 minutes of Alchemy Crystal Bowls therapy, 10 minutes of silent meditation and finish with a glass of charged water from one of the Alchemy Crystal Bowls, employees are encouraged to bring their own water bottle if they wish to take some home.  Sound Bath Benefits Today, scientists have shown that such practices:

  • lower heart rates

  • reduce pain and stress

  • improve productivity

  • reduce blood pressure

  • reduce anxiety

The Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls are excellent tools for creating natural binaural beat tones. Scientific studies suggest that the use of binaural beats is an effective way to treat anxiety and similar disorders, and to achieve a meditative mental state. The Crystal Singing Bowls offer a unique advantage over beats created by synthesized tones because the sounds are created acoustically.  The Sound Bath’s greater purpose is to restore harmony in the nervous system, reduce stress, help us connect to ourselves on a deeper level and take practitioners to a deeper meditative state. Regular participation in Sound Baths helps the brain waves slow down and reduces chronic stress.  Corporate Sound Bath Booking:  You can schedule weekly or monthly Sound Bath Meditations at your office. For a Sound Bath we will need a large enough room to fit your employees that want to participate, preferably with a closing door. If you have a room where you offer yoga with yoga mats and blankets, that is ideal. We will need access to the room 30 minutes prior to the Sound Bath for setting up.
